The philosophy of Tae Kwon Do is to build a more peaceful world. The art cultivates positive moral and ethical traits into each practitioner. It is upon this foundation that we seek to develop the tenets:

It takes a great deal of hard training to perfect all of these aspects.

School Location Iowa Black Belt Academy is hosted at Step One Wellness facility located at 412 West Street in New Virginia, Iowa. Classes are instructed by Mr. Mike McCuddin.
We have additional branch locations in Osceola, Indianola, and Pleasantville.
Class Times Classes are held at the main school location three times per week: every Monday, Wednesday evening and Saturday morning with exceptions for holidays and those will be announced in class a week prior to the holiday. Sessions are 8 weeks long and will run continually.
Classes at the Branch Locations are held two times per week: on Tuesday and Thursday. Students at the branches may also attend Saturday classes at the main school.
Weekday classes begin promptly at 7 p.m. Saturday class begins at 9:00 a.m. All classes last about one hour. Students are encouraged to either arrive dressed for class or allow enough time to dress and warm up before the beginning of class.
